Group members learning arduino split to discuss it.

At the national conference we learned you have to make our own hydrogen gas at competition

There were a few ideas for improvements such as having multiple iodine clock reactions and taking the average to make it more precise.

A lot of posters about different chem E cars are on google docs, feel free to read up on these.

Car teams split up and continued planning and scheduling.

General update: there is a new folder under each car team labeled calculations. Any calculations done for the cars can be uploaded to this folder with a topic and a date as to keep track of calculations.

Fuel cell: decided on iodine clock as stopping mechanism. Multiple vessels for iodine clock may be put into practice in a half an orange shape for fun.

Methods for hydrogen fuel cell testing and methods of hydrolysis (making h2 gas on site) were also discussed.

Next meeting plan on solidifying this, taking safety training quiz, and starting on scheduling.

Innovative: Decided on Silver mirror reaction or Tollens reaction for the stopping mechanism due to Elizabeth’s experience with the reaction.
