OSU ASCE provides several opportunities for professional growth and networking with professionals and other students, including the following:

ASCE Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders (location varies each year on the west coast - Las Vegas in 2018, Hawaii in 2019, Anaheim in 2023)
This workshop introduces ASCE student leaders to the national ASCE organization, and provides lots of guidance on how to manage a student chapter. Students meet professionals and other students from all over the western portion of the US.

Meet-A-Civil Engineer Day
The goal of Meet-A-Civil Engineer Day is to provide a venue for students and professionals to get to know each other in a more casual environment than typical career fairs. This event includes food, presentations, and mingling opportunities for all interested students.

ASCE Pacific Northwest Student Conference (location varies - MSU Bozeman in 2023)
Students from Universities throughout the Pacific Northwest meet annually to participate in various competitions and activities, including the Steel Bridge Competition , Concrete Canoe Competition , technical paper, etc.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony (OSU)
This ceremony has been organized by the chapter for the entire OSU College of Engineering to encourage professionalism and ethics among graduating seniors.

Mentors 360
Each year, the Mentors 360 group comes to OSU and a panel of speakers talks to students about their careers, ethical practice and what the profession is really about. Small groups are formed after the presentations to answer questions. The speakers offer to provide individual mentoring to students as well.
