Steel Bridge

Every year, OSU ASCE competes in the ASCE/AISC steel bridge competition at the ASCE Pacific Northwest Student Conference. This competition provides a student-driven project experience through design and fabrication of a steel structure that meets a strength requirement (supports 2500 lbs), and is evaluated on stiffness, lightness, construction time, economy, efficiency and aesthetics categories. The OSU Steel Bridge team works hard throughout the school year to prepare their design for the spring competition.

To get an indepth look into OSU's Steel Bridge Team, watch this video created by team member, Oscar Gayet.
