One of INR's goals is to facilitate access to natural resources data and information. INR manages Oregon iMapInvasives, a tool to map, track, and share invasive species locations and management actions using an open source online platform. INR partners with the OSU Libraries and Press to create and maintain the Oregon Explorer (OE), a natural resources digital library where users can interact with place-based, up-to-date scientific information through maps, charts, data, images, publications, and visualization tools. To develop usable and useful tools, and to highlight tools developed by other entities, INR relies heavily on strong partnerships with the Oregon Department of Administrative Services Geospatial Enterprise Office; other state, federal and local agencies; non-governmental organizations; and university faculty.
