Since the founding of our student chapter of AIAA in 2012, students here at OSU have been increasingly interested in participating in aerospace-related studies, competitions, research, and outreach activities. College of Engineering students now have a new avenue of pursuing these interests! In 2016, the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering launched its new aerospace engineering minor. Topics of study within the new minor include materials science, robotics, dynamics and controls, design, and thermal fluid sciences, among others. It is currently the only aerospace engineering-related, university-level program of study in the state of Oregon!
The required curriculum can be found here, within the Oregon State University Course Catalog. Details about participating in the Aerospace Engineering Minor can be found by talking to an advisor within MIME Undergraduate Advising, located in Rogers Hall.
