Club Description

There are two main factors that contribute to your success in the world of engineering: your technical knowledge and your soft (communication) skills. You will develop technical knowledge throughout your coursework at OSU, but what about your speaking skills? That's where the Engineering Speaking Club comes in. Our group provides a comfortable environment for engineering students to practice essential speaking skills. Each meeting features a quick presentation about the week's topic (interviewing, public speaking, networking, etc.), and the rest is dedicated to practicing in small groups. It can be scary at first, but building your skills in our welcoming group environment is a lot easier than waiting until your first big internship interview!
