We are a student-run club supported by the Valley Library and College of Engineering made up of students from all majors. The club started in fall of 2014 and continues to grow with every meeting! Our club is used as a resource for the campus to provide 3D printing needs and is also a creative outlet for students to print their own creations. We work hard to engage with the community, utilize new technology, and keep up-to-date on the changing world around us. Please don’t hesitate to drop in a meeting and see what we are all about!

Meet The Officers

 

  

President: Noah Koontz


The role of the President is the overseer of the 3D Printing Club. The President is responsible for the longevity of the club, to ensure adequate activity, to oversee all members of the club including executive members, to approve spending of the Director of Finance, and to be a representative of the clubs image. The president is responsible for having an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of the 3D Printer, knowledge of proper setup/cleanup procedures, troubleshooting, and replacement of broken/damaged parts.

The President shall not vote in elections except to break a tie and is responsible for tallying votes.

Vice President: Alex A.

The Vice President is in charge of working with the University, industry, and other professionals to promote the mission of 3D printing and the 3D Printing Club. The Vice President fills the role of President if the President cannot serve. 

Director of Finance: Melanie Gutzmann

Director of Finance is responsible for managing and recording the funding for the 3D Printing Club. The Director of Finance is in charge of applying for grants and funding for the club.  The Director of Finance will be responsible for managing new members at meetings i.e. greeting them, collecting dues, adding to mailing list

Director of Recruitment: Teresita Guzman Nader

The Director of Recruitment manages the process of recruiting new members as well as retaining existing ones. The director of recruitment is responsible for tabling, presenting to classes, and attending all official COB and COE meetings.

Director of Operations: Kyle DuFrene

 The Director of Operations is responsible for having an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of the 3D Printer, knowledge of proper setup/cleanup procedures, troubleshooting, and replacement of broken/damaged parts. They will have a cabinet consisting of 3D Printing Technicians who will assist in maintenance. 

Director of Marketing: Berkeley Shuratowicz

The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing the club's social media accounts, generate marketing materials, and join the Director of Recruitment at tabling events.
