Welcome to OSU's Materials Research Society Website!

Material Research Society is a national organization of materials researchers worldwide that promotes communication for the advancement of interdisciplinary materials research and technology to improve the quality of life.

The goal of the chapter is to introduce students to the discipline of materials science as well as foster connections between materials science students, faculty, and industry. Interdisciplinary collaboration between varied colleges and departments is highly encouraged.

Students from all majors are welcome!

Goals for the club include participation in lab tours, materials science seminars, and industry field trips, outreach activities, materials science demonstrations, as well as social outings for students interested in materials science.

National MRS membership (student = $30/year) is encouraged but not required for the Chapter. If you'd like to participate in funded activities Chapter fees are $5/year.
