Alpha Pi Mu officer elections will be held on Thursday May 2nd @ 6:00 PM in Rogers 237. Please fill out the google form if you plan on attending regardless of whether you plan to run for a position! There will be free food provided!

Dr. Mike Watson Presentations Presented by Alpha Pi Mu (February 9, 2024)
Alpha Pi Mu is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a distinguished guest presenter, Dr. Mike Watson, for two presentations on February 9th, 2024. Dr. Watson is the Systems Engineering & Integration Branch Manager in the Dynetics Space Division and brings with him an impressive background of over 34 years of experience, having retired from NASA. His contributions to the field of systems engineering are remarkable, including his role as the Marshall Space Flight Center Advanced Concepts Office Technical Advisor and his leadership in the NASA Systems Engineering Technology Discipline Team. His expertise extends to areas such as systems engineering principles, complex systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and much more.
Alpha Pi Mu New Member Initiation and Dinner (November 29, 2023
This event will welcome new members to the Alpha Pi Mu chapter and initiate them into the society.
Alpha Pi Mu New Member Information Session (November 15, 2023)
This event will introduce prospective new members to what Alpha Pi Mu is, and how it can assist with finding employment and camaraderie.
Officer Elections 2022-2023 (Winter 2023 - Week 8)
This year elections will be conducted as a hybrid event (Zoom and in-person). Elections will be held during week 8 (date and time TBD). The positions are a 1-year requirement, so it is expected you will still be at Oregon State University through Winter 2023 if you want to run (Remember we are fairly inactive during spring and summer due to MECOP). A survey will be provided in the near future to nominate yourself or others for a position.

Following the initiation ceremony, members are invited to attend dinner at McMenamins on Monroe to meet and chat with new members.

Here are a few notes to be aware of:
You may enter the night slated to run for multiple positions (no limit) but once you are elected you will not be considered for the other positions
You can only be elected for one position (unusual circumstances may require a member to hold more than one position)
Please come prepared with a small speech about why you think you would be a good fit for the position
President Candidates: 1-2 min speeches
Other Positions: 30sec - 1 min speeches
*Even if you choose not to run for a position, please fill out the form and attend the event if possible! If you are nominated by another APM member, Audrey will reach out to you and ask if you would like to accept your nomination.
