The Digital Home Group is looking for a validation engineering intern to work on the next generation of Set-top Box video chips. Our technology includes video decoders, audio DSPs, 2D/3D graphics, video display processing, and transport stream demultuplexors to name but a few. You will write creative test programs to “break our designs” -- ensuring that any functional failures are repaired before the customer sees them. You will work with experienced design engineers to root-cause and repair those failures.
Must be fluent in Perl, Verilog, and UNIX. FPGA, System Verilog, and/or Specman knowledge a plus. Video codec knowledge a
